Sick Birds
What should I do with sick birds at my feeder?
Take down your feeder for a few weeks to help slow the spread of disease. The National Wildlife Health Center recommends cleaning bird feeders with a solution of nine parts water to one part bleach. If there is visible debris, scrub it off before soaking in the bleach solution. Dry out the feeder before putting it back up.
