Charging

How long does it take to charge my Birdfy Feeder? How long will the battery last?
It takes up to 14 hours to fully charge your Birdfy Feeder. With a typical usage of recording 10 20-second videos per day, the battery can last up to 6 months. In addition, if you have the Netvue solar panel, your Birdfy Feeder will hardly need to be charged.

My Birdfy Feeder will not charge. What should I do?
If you're experiencing issues with charging your Birdfy Feeder, please follow these steps:

1. Check to see if the status light on the camera is solid yellow when charging. If it is, and the camera is not charging, try resetting the camera by pushing the reboot button located next to the power button on the camera while it is charging.
2. If there is no yellow light, try using a different power adapter and cable.
3. Ensure that the power adapter meets the specification of 5V/1.5A or 5V/1A, and that the charging cable is not too long, generally not exceeding 16ft.
4. Make sure the ambient temperature of the camera is within the charging range of 0~40°C.

If the issue persists, please contact our customer support at support@birdfy.com for further assistance.
