How to Share Your Device With Family/Friends-Birdfy Hum Feeder
For Birdfy Feeder and Birdfy Camera, follow these steps to share your device with your family/friends in the app:
On your phone, open the Birdfy app and tap the “settings” icon on the camera you want to share. Then tap “Share Device” and the “+” icon to create a QR code for them to scan.
Ask them to download the Birdfy app on their phone and sign up for an account if they don’t have one already.
On their phone, tap the “+” icon on the top right corner of the app homepage and select “Scan QR Code”. Then scan the QR code on your phone with their phone.
On your phone, confirm that you want to share your device with them and grant them permission to access it.
For Birdfy Nest:
Ask your friend to download the Birdfy app on their phone and sign up for an account if they don’t have one already.
On your phone, open the Birdfy app and tap the “settings” icon on the camera you want to share. Then tap “Share Device” and the “+” icon. Enter the email address that your friend used to sign up for their Netvue account. Finally, tap the check mark located at the top right corner to complete the sharing process. Your friend should now be able to see the shared device in their own device list.
