MicroSD Card-Birdfy Hum Feeder

Which products support microSD card storage?
Products that support microSD card storage: Birdfy Feeder, Birdfy Camera
Products that do not support microSD card storage: Birdfy Nest

Do I need an SD card?
Birdfy Feeder/Camera offer two ways to watch birds: live streaming and motion detection events. Motion detection events are 20 seconds long and are automatically saved in the cloud. Therefore, a microSD card is not necessary. However, please note that videos are only stored in the cloud for 30 days if you don't subscribe for the Event Video Recording service. If you want to keep your videos for a longer time, we recommend getting a microSD card so that the videos are stored locally on the microSD card and can be accessed anytime you want. Using a microSD card or not does not affect other aspects of your Birdfy experience.

What type of microSD card is compatible with Birdfy Feeder/Cam?
Birdfy Feeder/Camera support Class 10 microSD cards with a maximum capacity of 128 GB.

How do I insert a microSD card into my Birdfy Feeder/Cam? How do I remove it?
To insert a microSD card into your Birdfy Feeder/Camera, locate the microSD card slot at the top of the camera. Hold the microSD card with the label facing the same way as the camera lens and slide it into the slot until it clicks into place.
To remove the microSD card, use a SIM ejector tool or a paper clip to gently press the card so that it pops up, then carefully pull it out.

I got an error message while trying to format my microSD card. What should I do?
